How much did the new digitizer set you back and do you have a link to the website where you ordered it? I hate using screen protectors but I also hate having scratches on my screen. I don't mind replacing the digitizer once every 6 months or so if it's not insanely expensive (and if I can order it from somewhere in Canada). Thanks and good work on the repair! ;)

End of the story ... my Axim is gone.
I could not fix it and decided to buy a 2210 (sorry, guys).
If you're in the NYC area,I am selling a few Axim accessories :

If the Axim is only 2 weeks old, call dell and tell them you want to get the accident insurance. You can get it up to 30 days after you buy the unti. Then wait a week or two and call them and tell them what you did... Problem solved and it would only cost you 19 dollars.
