Re: Recharging

I have Dell Axim X5, 400 MHz version. I have this problem with the power supply. Each time that I have fully recharged it, within a couple of days, I will be down to about 10 percent of power even though I hardly switch it on. I have put it on powersave mode and have enabled it to switch off in 3 minutes if there is no activity.

I always recharge only when all the power is drained off totally, i.e. there is no power to switch it on. I am not sure if this is a good idea. Should I recharge it whenever the PPC prompts me to recharge it?

Personally I keep it recharged, but I have left it over the weekend and on monday morning it still says 100% perhaps you have a dodgy battery?

Are the battery connections clean?

I'm new here...but I bought an extra battery form my unit and it created so many problems, I sent it back. You could have a bad battery pack.

Unlike NiCad batteries, Lithium Ion batteries should be charged often.
