Question Windows desktop not filling up monitor, related to axim?

I consider myself a pretty avid computer user and pretty knowledgeble at that....However, it seems that soon after getting my axim, my desktop boots up with an inch or so of black around it...after resetting my monitor (changing the resolution higher or lower, and then back to normal) it works....Any thoughts or similar incidents? I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 w/ WinXP...

P.S. Could this have anything to do with Mazingo that I downloaded? It never seemed to work quite right and it would always make my screen flicker. I've since uninstalled it, but the problem persists.

Thanks in advance for your help....

I also have an 8200 and this has happened to me before. It was long before I got my Ax, though. Bugged the crap out of me for about a week... The way I finally got it back was to hit [Fn]+[F7 Font]... I can't remember if you have to do it while it's booting, or while it's in Windows, or if it matters... Mine was showing the black around the screen all the way from the BIOS screen into Windows.
