slow response on by Axim basic

I have had my Dell Axim basic for several months no problem. Lately I have noticed anytime I go to my apps. calender, contacts...etc. there's about a 5 sec. pause before it responds. I check processor speed, it's set to 300. I only have a few things on the built in memory, with a 128mb sd card, and a 1gig flash card. Anyone know what would cause the slowdown.

thanks in advance for any advice

It may be that 1 gig flash card. Try removing it and seeing if the Ax speeds up. Part of the start of most software is a search of all locations for compatible files, and a 1 gig card can take a while to search.

Along with this, I found my sd card caused my Ax to run slowly until I put a My Documents folder in it and got rid of the "ignore_my_docs" file.
