Card Reader and Win2K problem

Not really an Axim problem this, but any help would be greatlly appreciated!

I have just bought a 6 in 1 USB card reader and am running Windows 2000 at home. After installing it my PC only creates one new 'Removable drive' - and will only recognise the CF slot.

I installed the device on my Work PC which is running XP and it creatted 4 new 'Removable drives' without me having to do anything more! It sucessfully read my SD card (which was the main reason for buying the reader!) and my CF cards.

Does anyone know how I get Win2K to create the new drives? I've tried using the supplied driver CD, but that doesn't make any difference at all.

The device is made (I believe - it's not obvious!) by ST Microelectronics, but there is no link for technical support on the CD and there was no paper documentation supplied at all.

Any help or tips greatfully received!

Cheers!

Thanks for the help!

I managed to get it working in the end. W2K didn't recognise the drive so wasn't installing it properly. After manually choosing the driver, I was given all the usual messages about 'Microsoft not reccomending I use this drive - it may cause my machine to stop working, etc, etc'. I ignored this and, hey presto, everything started working ok!

Cheers,
Evvy.
