I've had my Ax for approximately 8 months now with no problem whatsoever. But recently my backup battery seems to be powering down quite often. I set my Ax on the cradle to recharge and it only goes up to 70%. Is this a known problem or something new here?

Any help is appreciated.

Backup batteries don't recharge. It is a one-shot watch battery.

Cool, that's what I thought but I just wanted to make sure and what better place than here with the experts. I guess I'll be looking for a new watch type battery here real soon.

I'm stuck somewhere I can't get a backup battery, is there some way I can shut off the "you don't have a functional backup battery" message?

I have been having the same problem with mine and the people at dell don't seem to know why. I have upgrade to the new rom and It still dosen't work.
