Power on is always with dim/no screen light

Hi
When I power on my Axim it AWAYS comes on without the backlighting on

I have to activate it EVERY TIME by holding the power button for 2 secs.

It didnt used to do this.

In the brighness section the sliders are at full, and no ticks in the boxes for timed changes etc.

can you help?

thanks Dean

I think there is a setting in the power section that affects the backlight, too. You might want to take a look there.

Make sure the "light the display if a button is pressed or the screen is tapped" - checkbox is checked in brightness controls for both tabs

Nah, don't feel dumb. Think of it as a chance to share your knowledge with your fellow Aximites
