Ok I picked up a usb 1.1 internal card reader, one of those ones with a CF, smartmedia, SD, and memory stick slot on it. I hooked it up to my usb pins on my board (ecs k7s5a).. xp found all the card reader's slots and mapped them as seperate removable drives. If i stick my 256meg viking CF card in the reader i can access it no problems. if i stick my sandisk 256meg SD card in there the reader locks up and so does windows explorer.. i've gotta hard power down to reboot. any one else had troubles? the SD card works fine on my axim and I just erased everything off of it to be sure. should i format the SD card in the axim or something? any ideas?

hmm nevermind .. i reformatted using fat16 with storagetools, everything's ok.. cept for the fact i accidentally erased my CF card.. no idea how it happened.. crap.....
