Hmm axim says charging but % going down!

My ax battery was running pretty low so i decided to charge it up, I have a usb sync/charge cable but when i plug it in the status says charging but the actually % charged is counting down not up! if i unplug the charger switch off the ax and switch it back on it shoots back up to say 50% but again when i charge it starts counting down again

any ideas?

Yep... don't use a USB sync/charge cable when the battery is less than 80% charged. It will discharge instead of charge.

It's been discussed many times here.

I've gotten to the point where I don't use my USB cable to charge because I never know if it is going to go down or up. I just use it to sync and plug in my power cord while it is doing that.
