Yes, but I doubt they would do anything. You might get a restocking fee charged to you, but I'm sure they would just ignore it. Rather have you buy another Axim than anger a future customer. I assume you have either a A03 upgraded to A05 or an A04 upgraded to an A05. There would be no issues with you returning an A04 -> A05 Axim to Dell. I doubt you'll be able to return a A03 -> A05 to dell without lying, but you never know.

If it was an A03 -> A05, you could simply restore PPC2002 before returning it.

If the handheld is hopelessly locked up, there is no indication that Dell can even get into it, therefore, it would not make a difference anyway.

It is hoplessly locked up and I was wondering how they handled a rom problem.
I have the 2003 update ordered (for ages now) and when they called saying it would be another 6 weeks I tried the A05,
I needed the added support it gives with WMP 9 files
and PocketMVP playing Divx5.05

You cant do a hard reset an ul-lock it at all? Cause if a hard reset worked then all you would have to do is restore your old rom and your good to go.

As I had posted (If the handheld is hopelessly locked up, there is no indication that Dell can even get into it, ), you could try for a replacement if you wish.
