Question HHHEEELLLPPP Please?

Hello out there wherever you are :)! I need to find out how I get my photos into my Axim x5? I tried reading the manual, but the only manual I have is on Adobe 8 and my eyes get tired quickly trying to read it. I couldn't find anything on transferring pictures from my computer to the Axim. I am pretty illiterate as far as technology language goes, but I am a pretty quick study, so if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. I finally figured out how to get new themes on this thing...woohoo!
Thanks so much, Helaine

do you have activesync installed?
If so, sync it and then "explore". copy the pictures into the document/pictures folder or best to a folder on the storage card

If not via activesync, then you will need a card reader for your PC, then copy the pictures direct to the card

Be sure an use a storage card, like Radimus recommended, to store your pictures since pictures can be quite large. Also you might want to reduce the size of the pictures before copying them to a storage card.

I have a digital camera that takes pictures to an SD card. After I take a picture all I need to do is insert the card into my pocket pc.

The best way I have found is to copy the pictures to an SD card and then insert the card in the Pocket PC. This way you don't use up valuable memory in your PDA.

I find the CF slot handy for pictures from my (old) Canon camera - more than 1000 compressed pictures on a 512MB card.

Not the state of the art, but fine for me :)

Thanks to all of you; I am taking away ideas that each one of you gave! This has been such a great help to me, this site. I would have been floundering had it not been here.
Thanks again!
