Backup battery very low

I have replaced the battery and i still get this any ideas?

I would add to that post that one of the most important things was to make sure the battery was absolutely clean and then don't touch it when you install it. I used a clean cotton cloth to wipe it very clean then use the cloth to put it in.

How do I even open up the backup cover?

I've now got this message as well...have the new battery and want to replace it...but having a heck of a time to opening the cover...what do I do?

you have to push in on the tab on the door. I used a stylis tip but be careful, I slipped and bent the tip once. Try a ball point pen.

This is a known problem with the X5. I have the same problem all the time. I eventually just ignored it. When the "back up battery is low" message comes up, I just tap the X. I keep a constant eye on the main battery though. When my main battery gets low, I just charge it up. You will notice the backup battery will be fine right now, then after a few times of turning ithe X5on and off (normal usage) it'll be low or dead. Then after awhile it'll be fine. All I can say is make sure you keep the X5 charged.
