Dimming

It seems that every time I turn turn off my ax, then turn it back on it is extremely dim, looks like it is on the lowest setting. I then go to the brighntess setting, and it is set on full brightness. Anyone know what may be causing this?

The on/off button has two functions. A quick click is on/off, a longer press is bright/dim. Are you pressing the button too long either shutting down or starting up?

Nope, quick click always. Just did it again as a test, and same results.
