Hey I'm new here and this is my first post so please bare with me. I have been having issues getting my Wireless Lan 11Mbps CF Card (Model WL-672) that I was sent with the device and other gadgets to work. I have installed the ActiveSync Software and had no problem getting the driver information from the Cd-rom supplied for the wireless card onto the PDA. I run into an issue however when I try to follow the instructions on the setup for the wireless, because on the screen that is the Dell TM WLAN Card screen right under the task bar it says
************************************************** ******** "Client: Driver not loaded -------------------------- laptop picture Network: Connection: AP: Channel: Encryption: -------------------------- To change your wireless profile, go to the Edit Wireless Profiles -------------------------- Tools Advanced ************************************************** ******** This is troublesome because I can look in the programs and see that the driver is installed. I have tried to remove the driver and start over again from scratch but I get a "File is read-only" error. I guess I am asking what do I need to do to get this wireless card to work? Or if you can't help me do that... how can I set the controls on the file and change it to not-read-only so that I can delete it and start over again. Is there a PDA uninstaller? Thank you!!!

According to a Google search, WL-672 is not a Dell wireless card, it's made by Sparklan (I searched because I know the Dell branded card is named 'Truemobile 1180').
Was the CD you used labeled as a Dell product? If so, you'll probably need to find a driver for the Sparklan WL-672. It doesn't look like that model is still sold so it may require a bit of searching. Alternatively, this adapter is based on the Prism chipset so it is likely that sHARD>>'s Perfect Prism drivers will work.
