Ok, so I got a dell AXIM X5 from my friend. No CD, Just the ppc, charger, usb docking station, SanDisk 128mb wi-fi card (I know-you all say its bad, im having real problems with it aswell, but thats for another day), bluetooth CF.
So I downloaded ActiveSync v4.5 and then docked the X5 - all went well. Found it, connected, I installed some game and the Wi-Fi drivers. It connected another 2 or 3 times via the USB dock then suddenly - BOOM... "USB Device Not Recognised" It just wont reconise it - i've reinstalled ActiveSync, System restored to yesterday!! Nothing! Please help me out here - I will die if I can't get this working. Great forums you got here btw - I have been looking around ![]() ~Sam

Sam,
I feel for you! I bought a Dell Axim X5 at an auction. It came with a charging stand and two SD media cards. I purchased a Dell TrueMobile 1180 wifi card, used a friends laptop to install the drivers. Well later my friend install Vista Home addition, now my Axim won't sync. David Harbour
