I donot have sound on my axim, I go to settings-sonds & notifications and the system volume shows silent and if i move the slide bar and press OK the slide bar returns to silent. Can anyone Help please.

I believe you would have "enabled" the sound check boxes under them.... and also if your thumb is scrolling down the left side stick, you might get the slider to turn back.

If the above are OK, try a soft reset...
