Tasks - Viewable but not modifiable, false no-memory issue?

When I open tasks, I can add a task using the toolbar, but I cannot add one using New, and, I cannot modify any of my tasks, or check them as complete.

If I do, I get the message saying no program memory avaliable, do this and that to free it. Right now, I have 13.96MB of free program memory and all my other programs are working as good as ever.

Restoring a previous backup was unsuccessful, and so was a soft reset, and clearing all my tasks, if anyone knows how to solve this without doing a hard reset, please let me know

----My wifi card also requires re-insertion to acheive a connection if I try to access the tasks?

--I went ahead and did a hard reset, my backup was corrupted ?! so I got screwed, back to square one for a second time in the last 2 weeks, damn

Well, the hell with it, I did alot of stupid install/uninstalls of programs last time and this time I am happy that I have a blank slate
