I have an Axim X5 running PPC 2003. I bought a 2G SD card and transferred all my files from my old 1G card to the new one using my PC. As far as I can tell, the cards are the same, minus the fact that the new one is 2G. My Axim recognizes the files from the old 1G card that are now on the new 2G card. But now when I try to add files to the new card (transfer files from my PC to my PPC using the ActiveSync file explorer), I get an error message: "The drive cannot find the sector requested". Or when I insert my 2G SD card into a reader and plugging that into my computer and transferring files that way, my Axim does not recognize the files. Yet the old files from the 1G card are still there. It sounds like the new card is not formatted, but my Axim can read the old files using the new 2G SD card. Any thoughts? Any downloads to fix the problem?

Sorry, but the X5 cannot utilize cards in excess of 1GB. See these threads for a discussion of this limitation...

Thanks so much for the response. Very helpful, but bad news nonetheless. Guess I will have to return the 2G SD card. Hope they accept it back.

Yeah hopefully they take it back, if they only accept an exchange you could get a bigger cf card.
