My girlfriend's brother wanted to use my Axim today so he could play his Digger game that I let him install. Anyways he forgot what my password was, and he entered the password incorrectly over 6 times. Then he called me on the phone to get the correct password.

Now when I turn on my Axim, it opens to the password screen (cool). But then when I enter my password, after I enter my 4 digits, it locks up on the last digit. I tried connecting it to my laptop with the cradle, but I can't connect with that either. Also, soft resets do not help either. I don't want to do a hard reset, because of all the stuff I have on it.

Fellow Axim users, please help me out Thanks!

Having same problems and more !
I have to reset 2 get in, and now I have new problems type will not work write and it takes a very long time to laod apps. this is not good because mr unit is but 3 weeks old. any input from anyone in-the-know please repond.

Update:

I let it sit for about an hour with the power turned off, and finally it accepted my password. I made a full backup of my Axim on my SD card in case this ever happens again.
