D-Pad errors, down=right,right,right,right

I'm having a really annoying problem for quite a while now, I havent seen anyone post on it, I could be wrong thou. Sometime after I upgraded to WM2003, my Dpad been having some somewhat random annoying errors, such as registering a down press as three or four rapid right presses, or a right press as up, in some games this can be fatal , and makes some apps hard to use, recently I forced a hard reset (I think) by accident when I took apart the axim to mod the Dpad (added a piece of dbl sided sticky tape under the dpad, made the pad feel 10x better) it cleared my memory, and I hoped this might help the problem after the reset but, same problems exsisted except before right used to register as 2-3 down presses. I'm hoping there might be some solution to this problem. I'm pretty sure this is a software problem (Hmm I just realized I posted this on the Hardware forum, doh), because while running PPC2002 there was no Dpad errors like this. :crooked:

Thanks.

Hmmmm. . . try going to Settings------->Buttons----->Up/Down. Slide both slider bars to the left and see if that helps any.

Thanks for the response but unfortunatly, that dident do it , I'm thinking about reinstalling WM2003, but I'm kinda afraid of the stories of axims turned paperweights, I was lucky the first time but not sure if I wanna risk it again, have they resolved the issues that caused all those paperweights when the upgrade was first released, or are people still having this problem.

Thanks
