D-Pad ... aint it great?

I'm new to this site as well as the Axim world, but not new to PDA's in the slightest. I received my Axim X5 on Monday and called Tuesday for a replacement because the right of the d-pad wasn't working. Today i get the replacement and it's worse than my first one. I searched this hardware forum and read about a lot of other people with these problems who had to return their axim 5+ times until they got a good one. I guess i can expect this too ... hopefully dell realizes how much money they're wasting in all these returns and comes up with a better design for this d-pad.

They already did.....it's called the X3. :p hehe

But in all seriousness, the D-pad on the X3 is much more like that on other PDAs. Hopefully they'll decide to make an improvement on the X5 D-pad in the future. But who knows, they could just be holding off for whenever the next Axim model might come out?
