Question ErrMsg: 'Cannot Connect'

I use wifi @ home, but when at work I keep getting cannot connect messages and when I'm in the car using GPS/TomTom - its very annoying and I have to keep clicking on dismiss - is their an easier way?, I'm using a socket CF WLAN card on an X5. The CF WLAN has NO client software.

Thanks in anticipation,

Gary.

Two possibilities – 1) you have an email account set to download on a set schedule, I found the easiest way to fix this is to select the ActiveSync account from the Inbox account list when you are not actually connected. And/or, 2) you have ActiveSync set to sync at set intervals. Set it to manually (in ActiveSync on the PPC while not connected, select Tools, Options, Mobile Schedule and select “Manually” from the dropdown list.
