dell axim x5 " i cant sync with P.C"

A friend of mine gave this axim X5. I had already installed in my computer active sync from an ipaq i had. But my P.C. does not recognize the axim when i plug in into the cradle.I downloaded the driver for it to sync and i unzipped the files but thats all it let me do...was unzipp!!! it had no setup file...is their something i'm doing wrong. My computer recognizes the new hardware found but thats about it...Can anyone help me...Thanks.

You need the USB drivers specific to the Dell. They have them at the Dell site for download, I believe.

normaly windows must tell you that he found a new device and try to install the driver. If he doesn't do that than there is a communication problem but then you must get an message unknow device. Also try to get the CD that come with this Axim
