E-mail Application Doesn't Open

I have an Axim 5, and all of a sudden, the e-mail application won't open. Tapping on the screen or using the button will not work. It continues to sync with my Lotus Notes, but I can't view or create any message.

I've pushed the reset button several times, but still no luck.

I'm running Pocket PC 2003.

Any ideas?

Aside from a hard reset, you might try deleting your existing partnership and then create a new partnership.

I have the same problem since I installed Zenokeyboard. If I go in through Start, Programs, then Inbox opens fine, but if I press the key or select it from the recent programs, it only shows Inbox in the title bar and the menus at the bottom of the screen with nothing in between.

I cannot even open the mail application by going into Start, Programs, Inbox. No matter what I do, the screen flashes at me, and remains the same.

I will try a hard reset and see what happens.

I'm really interested that you seem to have identified zenokeyboard as the application at fault for this...I have had this problem for sometime (and run zenokeyboard) but hadn't been able to identify a particular reason for the problem

I don't have the extent of the problem that lpeterhans has - like you using the start menu opens it OK.

Interesting though - maybe I look into that a bit more!

I tried the hard reset as mentioned by RobertCF. It worked until a reloaded the Cadenza mNotes that I use to sync with Lotus Notes, and synchornized all of the databases I have in Notes. Now it is not working again.

bernie_rubber - I identified zenokeyboard becuase it had never happened until I installed that program after getting a snapon keyboard. If I switch back to the regular setting, inbox will open correctly from the button or recent programs list 99% of the time.

Have you tried that? I would be interested to see if you see the same behavior.
