Stuck Pixels on X5

GASP!!!!! ARGHHHHH!!!! SOB!!!!!!

I know pixels can get stuck on LCD screens. I never expected it on my Axim X5. But reality happens I guess. It is red.

Anyone else have stuck pixels yet?

You could suspect that to happen with any LCD device... My dad's Sony NV70 had a dead pixel when he first got it. Same with my Minolta Dimage Xt.

I'd first check your warrenty out, but I doubt Dell would replace it just because of a single pixel... I've heard(but I'm not sure if I'd try it) rubbing around the area of the dead pixel will sometimes get it going again...

if it is still in warranty they will send you a refurb x5 to replace yours. if not you are SOL. is it just one pixel? have you tried letting the battery drain down and then recharging? don't forget to do a backup first.

One pixel died on mine and shows nothing but white. Man, they got that life and warranty stuff down pat now. Died 1 week after warranty was up. Have to really look for it to see it.

Mine has just developed a single white pixel in the middle of the screen, it's hardly noticable unless I'm looking at a mostly black application, which isn't that common..so I can live with it...still....grrrrr

my has two dead pixels, one white one bluish, doesn't really bother me that much though, it's only noticeable on an all black background or if i'm looking for it
