I upgraded my Axim X5 advanced to the A04 ROM. I tried to use the restore from Activesync but it wouldn't work.
I successfully restored from a Compact Flash backup. Now when I connect to Activesync it starts, connects and then kicks out. I have tried several soft resets, rebooted the computer all to no avail. Can anyone help? ![]()

Try deleting the partnership (in File|Delete Partnership in activesync), then reconnect the Ax, that should fix it.

Try using Resync from www.cewindows.net/applications/resync.zip.
This is a desktop applications which usually overcomes this irritating disconnection problem. If it does not you will almost certainly need a hard reset.
