AXIM 5 keeps crashing!!!

I have had my pocket pc for about 3 motnhs, and have had it "crash"...losing everything...including the Lexar 256mg back-up card. THIS HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES IN 3 MONTHS!!!!

This happens only when I plug it into the power source at night to chrage the battery.

I use my Pocket PC constantly, but am tired of having to reload program like Agenda Fusion and Pocket PC, etc...

Any ideas?

Janet

Try calling Dell. If you have only had it for 3 months it is still under warranty. If they decide to send you another one, it will be refurbished, so just get a supervisor and complain to them for a little bit and they will send a not refurbished one.

That is very unusual and unacceptable behavior. My Axim never crashed on its own like this. And I have mine for over a year. Call Dell for a replacement for sure. Good luck.

Same for me, my X5 basic has been rock solid and have had it for a year. Only time I had to reset was when I upgraded the ROM version. Make them send you a new one!
