Got the solution from Pocketop. These guys rock! Here's the email they sent me:
Hi Efrain,
I just came across this problem yesterday with another Pocketop customer
using the demo version of the nyditot software. As you may already know, we
use nyditot as our screen rotation software providers.

sounds like something did not properly uninstall from the trial
version. Please have your customer try the following:
1) On the device use Settings > System > Remove Programs to remove the
Pocketop and Nyditot Virtual Display software, if either appear in the
list.
2) Using ActiveSync from the desktop, choose Explore. Navigate to the
\Windows folder.
3) Manually delete any files that begin with the letters "NVD".
4) Soft reset the device.
5) Reinstall the Pocketop drivers.
