X5 connection with dsl

Hello all, I have updated our internet connection from dial-up to dsl. Is there a way to change the connection on the axim from dial-up to use the dsl connection? I am in the process of purchasing a wireless card for the axim but in the meantime just wondering if this is possible. I have the ip address and dns numbers for the service. thanks

How are you going to connect? A CF ethernet card? Or, does your DSL provider also provide you with some dial-up minutes with your service?

(I use Earthlink DSL, and have dialup minutes to use when I am away from my home wifi network)

As you already seem to suggest, the wifi CF card is really the best option to use your X5 with your DSL.

While you are out getting your wireless card get a wireless router. All you have to do is install the wireless card software and with WM2003 all the configuration is done for you.

But I don't think that there is a PPPoE client for the Axim. So if your DSL connections requires PPPoE you won't be able to plug the Axim into it directly.
