Synch Problem

Hello everybody,

I cant synchronize my X5 with my pc no more. The problem started when I went on vacation and found the X5 with no batteries then I used a backup file that I had in an SD memory and after several tries I got all my information back. The thing is that the first time that I tried to synchonize after that, it started to do so by "Looking for changes", but in the middle of that it stopped and when Not Connected.

I have tried restarting my PC, also doing a Soft-Reset to the X5, installing the latest Active Synch and installing a program called ReSync. All this and I still havent been able to sync.

Please tell me what else can I do?

On your PC/ASync > Delete all Partnerships and All Files, when it asks.

On your Axim > Make sure your Owner Information is correct (Start > Settings > Personal > Owner Information) AND Change your Axim's Name - Do not use an underscore in the name. (Start > Settings > System > About > Device ID).

Then ASync should wizard you through setting up a new Partnership with the New Device Name when you put the Axim in the cradle.

I did what you are telling me and it didnt work. I changed the name of my Pocket PC to one that doesnt have an "_" on it and deleted all the partnerships.

Is there anything else that I can do.

I tried doing a Guest Partnership and it worked, I could move files an see all the folders in my Pocket PC.

The problem is when it tries to sync.

Please help.
