I just had mine do this today for the first time. I was attempting to watch a movie and it locked up. It happend about 3 times and I kept soft reseting it. The third time I reset it and looked away and I heard a DING. I knew the sound was off and when I looked down it was on the Startup Screen that pops up after a Hard Reset. Needless to say it had done a hard reset and erased everything. I am pretty angry, because I just did an INTENTIONAL Hard Reset the other day and I had just gotten done restoring all my applications.

But apparently didn't do any kind of backup as soon as you finished reloading everything.

I promise you, Sprite BackUp is money well spent.

haha.....I guess I really cant complain about the applications. I dont usually do a full backup just because of the time and amount of space it would need. I have all my PIM stuff backed up and that is all I really need. It only takes me about 10 minutes to re-install all my applications, but it can still be a hassle.

Sprite will solve both those issues.
