I have an interesting issue that I have not seen anywhere in the forums.
I have no problem syncing my device in terms of synchronizing files and the like or transfering files by cutting and pasting and all that. When I connect my Axim it syncs and everything is synchronized. However, when I try to install programs that have a setup method of installation (as oposed to just copying the file into Axim and running it from on the device) it tells me that Active Sync is no longer on my computer and it can't do the setup. Does it make sense that I can sync my Axim but setup files for installation don't recognize Active Sync on my computer?
To compound the problem my wife threw away my original installation disk that came with the Axim. Is there anything I can do? Somewhere to download something? (I have an X5 by the way). Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Sorry I can't be more useful, but you can get ActiveSync3.71 from ActiveSync 3.71 link . I do not how to solve your main problem. Someone else should be able to help with that.
