Main Battery Problems?

My Axim 5 will not recharge the main battery. The battery has not really acted up any, but has maybe lost some listening time to mp3's at work down to around 6-7 hrs. were I use to get like 10hrs.or more with the screen off. But in the past it would give me a warning of battery low and beep, I would shut it off and just set it back in the cradle for charge and the charge light on the cradle would turn to orange telling me its charging....Now, this is not the case...The light does not come on and the battery does not charge. I know I'm getting a good connection because it syncs up to my desktop just fine. Question is , Do you think that I just simply need a new battery or is there something wrong with my cradle or x5 ? For I would think even if the battery was completly shot ,that the cradle would at least try and charge it and that the light on it would come on.....You folks have any thoughts on this? Thanks

Try plugging the AC adapter directly into your Axim. If that doesn't do the trick, try taking out your battery and reseating it. If neither of those work, I would say you have a bum battery.

Note: The orange light will not come on when your Axim is plugged directly into the AC adapter. You'll have to check the battery control panel to see if it's charging.

Thanks Alot gbm85, I am SO stupid....went to plug the AC straight into PPC to see if that would work and guess what, The AC plug was not even plugged into the Cradle...Duh....Well after plugging it in the cradle ,I now see my little orange light,lol....Thanks Again
