D-Pad feel?

How does your D-pad feel? I used a Ipaq beforehand and it had a very solid feel. The Dell one feels mushy and not very accurate. Is this normal? I'm jsut wondering whether to call Dell about it. When I try playing games such as NES roms its just not very responsive. Is this normal?

Yes it's perfectly normal. Whether it warrants a return is up to you -- unless presses don't register predictably in a given direction, I say don't chance it and risk getting another unit with another (more annoying) problem.

Mushy

Ya I know my is Mushy, I think I like it to! I hear so many people complain about it (not saying you ^ were) usally at the dell forums. I can see where you wouldn't want a mushy d-pad if you do a lot of excel stuff. But I play mostly games and it gives you more of the gamesystems controler feel, then way you can go right making it great for mario to run but you can hit down really quick with the right so mario can duck...

Mad

My D-pad is not working well!!! When I read e-book or browse web pages, it's ok. But when I play game, D-pad upper arrow never works. I'm not sure if I need to persue a exchange or install certain patch.

Give it time and someone will "post" a way to disasemble the little sucker and show us how to replace a very obvisous flawed switch. The Palm groups were always taking theirs apart!!!!
