I need some help...
Ok...I just got my Axim a few days ago and I love it (I'm recovering Palm user). I'm interested in using it with a cell phone for internet purposes in the future so I purchased a Bluetooth CF card. I also purchased a dongle for my PC. I can't seem to get the two to talk. I think the problem is with the CF card. The dongle seems to be working ok on the PC (no conflicts or errors). I loaded the drivers onto the Axim and installed the CF card. Then I enable the driver and I get a little Bluetooth symbol in the lower right corner of the screen. I tap on the symbol and open a box and make the device "discoverable". I then launch "Bluetooth Manager" and I can see my PC on the screen. On my PC I can see my Axim. I then double tap the PC icon on the Axim to "search for services" I can see on my PC that a conection has been made but the Axim says "search for service failed" and the conection is lost. At this point the Axim no longer acknowledges the presence of the CF card. I have to remove it, do a soft reset and start over again. Has anybody else had a similar problem? Does anyone have any idea what I may be doing wrong? The CF card is made by Mavin (so is the dongle). I'm wondering if maybe the driver is wrong. When I ran the install program I was prompted to choose a driver from a list based on my cpu. The only one that was listed for the Pocket PC 2002 OS was for an "SA1100", nothinh for an "Xscale". I was told that it was compatible with the Axim but maybe it's not. So I'm not sure if the driver is the problem or if the card is bad. Anybody got any advice? Thanks.
