Question Is my battery getting old, looses power quickly???

Well my Axim is not even a year old yet and these past few days it seems like its loosing battery power within a few hours after being used.

The only new app I have installed recently is JOURNAL BAR that keeps scrolling with news and weather. Could this be draining it?

I also have it on AUTO for the power option and brightness at 3/4's.

Dlink CF wifi card when used but its always removed when not in use. Does this really drain it?

Any input or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

When you say it lasts for only a few hours, is that when it is on or when it is suspended?

When its on, I can view the battery meter on the WisBar going down. Suspended as in: was on and battery save, the lcd screen goes off? Yes still draining.

If it is less than a year old, call Dell and report the problem. They will most likely tell you to upgrade the ROM. if that doesn't work, have them replace the unit. It is documented that some of the boards are defective and they will np\ot replace even a few days out of warranty.
