Mad CF card says 106.14mb in use but there is nothing on it!

Hello all.

The CF card I'm using is San Disk 256mb. I tried to put a movie I converted earlier onto this card. The card would keep resetting itself. I since deleted the movie off the card but it's showing 106.14mb in use, but there is nothing on the card.

I had a bunch of photos on the card last week, but I since deleted them. The card should show 0 mb free as there is nothing on this card. I've tried a soft boot, taking the card out and blowing on it, looking for additional files, etc.. NOTHING!

btw.. I've put movies on this card before and have never had a problem. This is the first time this has happened to me.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Actually their CF cards are normally ok. If you have a card reader you could just reformat the card. If this is the first time then it just be a freak occurance.
Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

If I don't have a card reader is there any other way to reformat the card? Can I download software onto my Axim that will let me reformat the card?

Also.. I've had the card for 6 months now and it was purchased online. No problems till now.

ty.
