Backup Batery - Searched
I have an X5 with W2003 with all the updates(that I know of) and it keeps on telling me the backup battery is dying, even if I have my axim charged all the way. It will even come up when I first turn on my axim when I have it on my charger. The first time I noticed this was I hadn't used my axim in a couple days and I turn it on and I lost all of my info, then I charged it and then it said low battery, so I would plug it in and once I pulled the charger off of it it would say low battery. Then I lost all my info again, and a few days after that I took out the battery and put it back in and the battery meter went up to 40%, but then I charged it, and yesterday I pulled my battery again and put it back in and I lost all my info again. Most of the time lately I barely have my axim not on the charger because it dies. Anyone know the problem? Also I haven't changed my backup battery since I got it which was last June.
Any help would be appreciated! Or could it just be I need a new battery? | ||||

Re: Re: Backup Batery - Searched
Thanks! I kept on reading about people having problems with wm2002 with reading the backup battery... so I just wanted to make sure, even though I felt that the battery needed to be replaced.
I wonder why it says you can recharge it when you click on the low backup battery... ![]() Quote:
