Mugen Battery Problem

I just got my Mugen 2000mhA Battery for my Axim X5 advanced. I charged it for about 8 hours. I put it in and it seemed to work properly. After about 10 minutes the screen faded out, as if the battery died, but the battery power remaining was shown as 92% right when it went off. This happened every time I tried to use the battery. When I leave the PDA off for about 10 minutes it wont turn back on. I do not have this problem with my regular battery. I already send an email to the seller asking for refund, but do you guys think the battery is broken or anything? I would like a different solution than getting a new battery, because I will soon leave the USA and go back to Germany where a new battery couldn’t really be send to.

Thanks for your help!

I noticed when I got my mugen battery it didnt quite fit on right, maybe check that the contacts are all touching and the battery isnt moving, otherwise maybe a few charge cycles will get it going
