If not SanDisk, then what?

What brand SD card is best for the Axim. I'm returning my Sandisk 256MB card to Dell because I keep losing all of my data and it asks me to format the card over and over again.

I have SimpleTech 256 SD , 256 CF and 512 CF cards ... no problems. Probably going to buy this Viking card soon.

My CF and SD cards are both Lexar and I haven't had any problems at all (almost 2 months use).

Lexar

I agree with Shane on this one. I have used Lexar memorysticks and compactflash without a bit of problem. Read speed is awesome with both, and write speed is above average. I saw a post on here where Gateway has the 256MB lexar SD for around $79 or so. On a side note, I have also had bad experience in past with sandisk CF (lots of corrupted files, requiring constantly reformatting). Hope this helps.

I would recommend anything that uses Panasonic memory chips.

This includes Lexar (and PNY I believe). I have been using Lexar and PNY on our Palms and PPC with zero problems. BTW: The Lexar cards seem really fast to me. They were also the least expensive at the time I bought them.

I haven't had any problems with my SanDisk 256MB card. I've read the posts that others have had problems, maybe I just got a good one. ;)
