SD CF Card problems
I have run into a problem that has me sweating bullets. I loaded some programs to an sd card a while back and everything was fine. Recently when I turn the Axim 5 advanced on all these programs failed to work. So, I removed them from the card and reloaded and they worked fine till the next morning when I turned the Ax on and they failed to function again. I was thinking hhhmmm bad card. Well now the same thing has happened to the CF card. Load a program, and everything is great, till the next day when the programs fail to function. I get a notification that says parts of the program are missing and and it cannot run or something to that effect. Has anyone else run into this??

Would it be of any use to you if I say I haven't run into this in the 1.5 years I've had my Axim X5 Advanced? I mean, sure, I had the standard SD card problem, until SanDisk replaced my card, but never an issue with the four (or is it five, now) different CF cards I've used for file storage. My CF cards have always been rock solid. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.
I am, of course, assuming that you've checked with your application vendors, and that you've made sure that they didn't say that the programs in question had to be installed in main memory. | |||||||||||

Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end. Unless you're dead, then it's the end for you, but what would you care, especially since it's not the end for someone else. Unless everybody's dead...but then there are probably some aliens alive somewhere, and it's not the end for them.
