Question CF card slot

Here is my problem. I went to perform a backup data on my X5. I use a SanDisk 256mb card in my CF slot for back up only. When i went to do the back up the popup window said-- not enough space on the card. So i deleted the back up information on the card and reformatted the CF card. When i went to do the backup-i found out that the CF card slot was not recongized anywhere. With the card in the slot-no where in the system does it recoginize the fact that there is a CF card in the CF slot in the PPC. It seems like it just went away and nothing i have tried seems to bring it back. i haven't tried to put another card into the slot-i don't have one to put into the slot. HELP!

Might be a faulty card. Maybe take your PDA to an electronics shop and ask if they have a card you can try, or if you can try your card in one of their devices.
Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.
