Hmm Password Difficulties

Just started today...When I turned my x5 on, the password screen came up as usual. I could type by password in using the onscreen keyboard and tap the OK in the upper-right hand corner with my stylus. The white circle around the OK disappears which makes it seem like the touchscreen is responding to the stylus tap, but nothing happens. It doesn't go on to the today screen and it doesn't come up as "Wrong password. Please Retype Your Password"

Any Suggestions other than a hard reset???

I have PPC2002 and I've tried soft resets.

Thanks

I've tried that...I even tried removing the screen protector and cleaning around the edge of the screen with a business card as suggested in other threads.

I had just bought and installed JAMDAT's Worms World Party the night before if that plays a factor.
