Read the previous post on this but no luck.

removed reinstalled Active sync 3,7 etc.

It alerst me that the Axim is detcted or the usb device is detected but then it will not connect to sync.

ther is tak abioout reinstalling the usb drivers for the Axim and that it is a inf file, which inf file there are agazillion of them on the disk?

I rely on my Axim heavily for work, any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

The .inf file you need is on the CDROM that came with the Axim, in the root directory. As I recall, there was only one there.
