Dell Keyboard Remapping?

I have the Dell collapseable keyboard for my Axim...works well, but...

The shift key on the right side of the keyboard is undersized, and the key next to it is the up arrow.

So what happens (especially when I'm typing fast) is that I hit the up arrow (instead of the shift), the cursor moves up a line, and I end up typing in the wrong place (instead of capitalizing a sentence).

Very strange, since this is exactly opposite to how the keyboard is set on my Dell X200 (the shift key there is EXACTLY where the up arrow is on the Axim keyboard).

Is there a software (or hardware) fix that would let me "remap" the keys of the Axim keyboard? (I remember things that would let you set up a DVORAK keyboard if you wanted on other platforms). Anyone know of anything similar?

Thanks!

I found that annoying for a while, but I haven't noticed any problems with it, you should get used to it after a while actualyl, I can type about 10 WPM less, so around 90 or so on the dell keyboard, considering the keys are so mcuh smaller, a 10% loss in speed isn't bad... I don't know about you though. a remap though would make the arrow kind of awkward, unless you'd just want to get rid of the up arrow altogether, which I use all teh time.

I really can't think of a better layout for QWERTY.

This thread has been quiet for a while but I wondered if anybody has found a way to remap the keys of the Axim's external foldable keyboard for a dvorak layout. I have asked the Dell folks (who don't seem to know anything about it) & I've asked the Benq people (who now make & support the keyboards).

I've pretty much given up, but I'd love it if someone knows of a fix...
