Worried trouble backing up

Hey I need some help. I'm trying to back up my data/files to a CF card. I need about 35 megs of space, and my card has way more than that available. Yet the backup program quits repeatedly at 93% and states "backup failure". I've tried different cards, and have done several soft reboots...no joy. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!!

Are you using the standard backup program that comes with your Dell, or are you using something else? (I use and highly recommend Sprite Backup.) There may be a file problem: with me, the backup program supplied with my X5 choked on a particular program (don't know why) and wouldn't proceed further. Sprite backs up without a hitch.

Hello,
Most of the time this is caused because a program is still running in the background, and it didn't get closed or it wasn't closed properly, etc...I'd recommend before doing a backup do a soft reset. Then try to do a backup. This should clear everything out. If this doesn't work; I'd try using another backup program besides the one that came with your Axim.
