CF Card ?????

How do I change the name of my CF card ???
It shows as CF Card2 , but its the only CF card I've got (got a SD card installed too, Is that it ??)

Also (while I'm asking) why does the Axim turn on whenever I remove a CF/SD card ? Can you disable this ?

cheers

Where does it show CF2? Mine is listed as CF Card in File Explorer and Active Sync Explore. I have used two different CF cards and they both had this same designation. They were both CF-I type.

I assume the Axim wakes up whenever you insert or extract a memory card because the system configuration changes, and there is no way to prevent it. Waking up may be necessary to register the changes internally.

Can't disable it. When the card is inserted/removed the operating system has to build a directory or drop a directory. So, it wakes up the Ax, re-does the directory and then idles. It should shut off again when the timers expire, unless something else holds it up.
