Button 2 Contacts Problem

I have experienced my Button 2 Contacts has stopped working. Regardless of the number of pushes nothing happens. Others Button 1, 3, & 4 still working fine when this happens. A soft reset takes care of the problem.

What I was doing beforehand could have been an IR Activesync. Have tried stopping all with Switcher Bar but doesn't somve the problem.

Anyone else had this problem?

Did you try setting the button using Start>settings>Buttons? Did you try a soft reset? You can also reset the buttons to default actions on the Start>settings>button screen.

There is a known issue with Contacts and the Switcher Bar. If you shut down Contacts using the Switcher Bar while looking at a contact, Contacts will no longer run unless you do a soft reset.

Hmmm I just went and tried this, and my contacts run ok. I wonder if this problem is specific to the Ax version?

Cheers.

Follow these steps to duplicate:

1. Start Contacts.
2. Click on a contact
3. While viewing the contact's information, click on the Switcher Bar and select "Exit current program"

Contacts should not open. The key is you have to be actually viewing a contact when you shut it down, not just have Contacts open.

FYI: I have Rev A03.
