anyone have any experience with this CF modem?

mine arrived today, connected it.......setup the modem as the connection............the process begins.........states CONNECTING yet does'nt advance beyond that

any suggestions/help would be great appreciated

I use this modem and so far it works great. I did have a little trouble getting it to correctly dial the correct number but once I figured it out no problems. I'm assuming you're dialing your ISP. Did you setup you Dialing Locations correctly? This is where I had problems. Go into Connections - click on Dialing Locations tab - Choose either work or home - set your local settings (country code set to 1 - tap dialing patterns and I put a G in all dialing patterns. Dialed my ISP again and it works great!
