CF Card trouble?

Wow.. What a great site. I have learned much here from all of you and thank you for it. I am having one problem and one conundrum.

The problem: I am trying to do a complete backup on a 32 MB CF card, made by PNY. The system goes thru the motions until it hits 83% and it then tells me the backup failed. I have reformatted, I have run storage tools on it to no avail. I can doa a partial backup (as opposed to a full) and it works fine. I am unable to doa backup anywhere else due to size constraints. I guess one fix would be to save it to the PC hard drive, buit alas, I can find no way to do it.

The Conundrum: I am using the Omega Battery pack 2003, and it tells me that for battery power I have 2 h 42m r. Does the batteryt ever allow more than that? I hate to test it and run the battery dead as one would do with a CP.

Ok, that's my questions. Again, thanks for all the informative help....

John
